Here redwood vineyard stakes along with planks from a downed fence sourced from Napa County are reconfigured to create an outdoor shower for coast side client. Antique brass fixtures and exposed copper compliment the naturally aged tones in the wood. Door handle, locking bolt and latches have been hand fashioned from driftwood found just down the hill on the beach.

In this tiny apartment improvement project, I was posed with the challenge of creating an attractive, welcoming space around an existing gas heater without compromising its functionality. Salvaged wood paneling covers unsightly gas pipes running up the wall. The sheet steel chimney serves two purposes. 1... to radiate warmth while hiding the existing heater and 2...as a back drop or "heat shield" for the faux wood stove which burns only alcohol gel fuel or candles.
